I’m a 19 year old lesbian and I’ve been trying out some online dating sites in hopes of finding a girl to hang out with or possible start dating during the summer while I’m home from college. The downside is that all the dating sites I’ve tried allow you to view other members profiles, send a little greeting (like “Hi there!”), but not actually get in contact with the person unless you’re willing to pay upwards of 20 dollars for a monthly subscription.
Anyway, I found this really cute girl who lives fairly close to me on one of these sites, and would like to contact her. I checked the web for other instances of the username she used on the dating site, and was able to find a website (a lesbian story site) in which she had posted her e-mail address.
Would it be considered way creepy to e-mail her, or do you think she would find it to be sweet that someone wanted to get in touch with her that badly?
Seriously, I’m not a creeper, I just know how to use the internet.

You could try the email but as you really don’t know this person yet you should meet them on “neutral territory” – don’t take them to your home the first night (… maybe – up to you).
See what they are like in person. You want Dr. Jane Jekyll, not Ms. Jane Hyde – meet them first. This applies to ALL online dating – gay, straight or plaid.
well if you go get an account on glee.com…… you can send ppl invites to b friends, and you can send them notes even if you arent their friends first…its a good website, i have an account…its lover1….ill accept you or invite if you send me one

If she put her email in a lesbian story site, and has a thing up in a dating place… I think she’d be ok with getting an email.
