Ive been trying the free sites out there to meet women. Most of my time is spent at work and it lacks a social atmosphere. I’ve actually met some people but haven’t found the right one. Is there any hope?

Be brave and actually pay to join a decent site. You’ll meet woman who are much more likely to be genuine.
I’ve had some lovely relationships that started from a dating site; true love, and also some nice friendships on the way to it. It can work v. well if you’re honest, and prepared to put in the effort.
Yes! There is hope. I am a life coach and I am very excited about a new site called smingle.com! They will be going beta very soon and have a brand new approach with a focus on empowering singles. It is a one stop shop for singles so you can stay up to date on issues that are important in your life as well as find love. I think you should watch out for them to launch. You will have a great time and love might sneak up on you! Don’t give up! As I tell my clients – keep seeing it, feeling it and trusting that it will happen for you and it will! You are very powerful. You are!
I am sure you want to avoid paying for a good site, but if you want a decent site then sorry, you’re going to have to pay. Most of them are pretty good sites. I use a website that features ALL of the good, legit dating sites so that you don’t get screwed. It is menshealthawareness.com, go to the mens superstore and it has a section of dating services. I have used a couple of them and they were reasonable and good at getting you connected.
hi there,
lol
Each year many people flock to online dating services in part due to the increasing busy lives that we lead. Love at a click of a mouse seems almost too good to be true, but it helps busy people save time by weeding out prospective matches that do not fall within their criteria.
This article highlights three quick tips to help you meet more people online and be more effective at finding your next love of your life when looking at profiles in online dating services.
Firstly, dispel any sense of insecurity in your thoughts. This would translate into your online profile description. People want passion in relationships so be affirmative and not tentative in descriptions of yourself. Describe a hobby or some interest that you are passionate about and this will shine through to differentiate you from the many people out there.
Secondly, editing your profile from time to time helps you appear as a “new profile”. This is a trick that would help you get more page views and attract the relevant person into your life. Spend time taking a good photo for your online profile as most people determine attraction at least at the start based on your perceived looks.
Thirdly, find people who share similar hobbies with yours so that should you go out for a date, you will have some natural things that both of you find passion in doing. So for example if you are a guy and you like outdoor events, look for a girl who loves rock climbing or trekking. This would save you some time trying to be someone you are not.
Try this website out,it proved to work quite well with me :http://friendfinder.com/go/g1094584-pmo
I hope you find your soul mate there
If you’re truly looking for a serious relationship, you’ll need to pick one with high quality members that is based on matchmaking and not hooking up. If the site is free, you probably don’t want to spend your time there. Those sites are pretty much just entertainment and most of the profiles haven’t been logged into in over a year.
I’d recommend the following sites:
match.com
eharmony.com
chemistry.com
These sites are all based on matching serious singles by personality types. They have a very high user retention and membership renewal rate.
You’ll want to mark off about 1-2 hours to fill out your profile. The more in-depth, the more accurate your matches will be. You should definitely leave off private/personal information that’s not necessary in screening for a first day.
I hope this was helpful. If you don’t find what your looking for, you can read reviews of other dating sites at http://www.webdateinfo.com . Some of the reviews there give some good insight and feedback on dating sites.
There is always hope

You might want to try a subscription site, they tend to have members who seem keener on meeting someone than on the free sites (never did a scientific test, but that’s the impression I got.
Try http://www.mydatinggenie.com/ as they’ve got reviews of the best dating sites and articles on how to wirte a profile etc
