I e-filed my tax return both federal and state and I have all ready received my state refund, according to my tax person he received an approval from the irs. They said they have received my tax paperwork, but could not give me a date. I have called the phone line and check online status but it still says they have no information. I was told it will update and then I am told don’t hold my breath because the irs does not update as well as the states system. Does anyone know anything?

I was wondering the same thing! It seems like this is the first year that i havent been able to get a status over a week after I efiled with direct deposit and it got accepted over a week ago.. it says u can check after 72 hours but its not updating.. then i read somewhere they update on weekends and it hasnt been updated.. same thing with me tho.. call the number and nothing get on the website and nothing… id just like to know when im gettin my refund.. lol
Nope about 10,000 people are in the same situation. Filed accepted a week or so ago and no updates or they get no information about there refunds. No doubt you will probably have your refund before the site even updates. Goood luck.
the irs usually updates once a week , but just give it 24hrs and see. If nothing after 24 hours just wait about 3days then check. Dont listen to everyone else on here. Every year it changes
