Here’s my question. I’ve been kicking around on frees site for a while (I paid for Match, wound up with a con artist, thanks Match!!) and I haven’t had the most outstanding results. I don’t put my picture up, but I let them know it’s available. If any of you ladies have strategies that have worked for you, let me know. Bonus if you’re like me. Black. Hypereducated. Overbuilt. most people on dating sites are LIARS. you might find 1 in 1,000 that’s actually there to meet someone, and 1 in 100 of them that actually wants to go out with someone.
Most of them are just internet junkies wouldn’t know what to do with a real person if they had one.
Dating sites don’t work. The time and money that it takes to be on one of them, you probably could have found a date. Hell the perfect guy for you is probably sitting there wishing you knew he existed. too nervous to talk to you. Probably acts goofy whenever you’re around, and doesn’t understand why you won’t go out with him.
I have never heard of online dating working.
Well, okay, maybe on the commercials advertising for the sites.
Otherwise, No. Not for me, my friends, or anyone that I’ve ever heard of.
Unless of course you’re not picky.
But it sounds like you are.
Educated, built, articulate?
Sounds like you need to expand your social network. It’s so corny, but true. What do you love to do? Get out and do that…..When you are doing something that you love to do, you’re bound to meet someone.
no ive got a man. have you ever thought of going night clubbing or boot skooting or doing something that you enjoy like traveling, oh here i have an idea, go to the gym and join a class for a few weeks as there are always yummy looking guys there and most of them are single. take care
