How Do I Play Fifa 08 Online???

I am trying to play FIFA 08 online but everytime i try its saying that my version is out of date and that i need to install a patch.i downloaded the patch and tried to install it but it is saying “”Old file not found.However, a file of the same name was found.No update done since file contents do not match.”" …could anybody help me out……… and plz give me the answer step by step……

  Go to this address.
  http://largedownloads.ea.com/pub/patches/Fifa/08/
  Then, you will see the regions for your game.
  So, you have to know which region is your game is on?
  if not, jus try with all of them, one of them should be ok.
  when i updated , i didnt know what is mine.
  but, i jus tried all of them and i got it with the nordic one.
  thats all you need to do.

  Just read through the game menu and you will be fine with it. all amateurs need some time to get used to the stuff, but once you are – you are the Rooney of FIFA 08!
