Personally, I think the term "Christian dating" is an oxymoron. Been there, done that...lots of years and I just can't view it any other way.
What exactly is the point of dating...from a Christian point of view? I know the point from a "worldly" perspective...having fun, getting to know someone, having someone to share things with, etc...but shouldn't such self-centered pursuits be secondary to a Christian? Didn't Jesus tell us to trust God for all our needs and focus our attention on serving the needs of others? More importantly, why would a Christian want to cloud his or her judgment with "romance" or "lust"...and one-on-one "dating" is a surefire recipe for that kind of emotional confusion!
You want to meet someone...the person God would have you meet, then forget about dating services (Christian or otherwise) and get busy serving others. God has blessed you with the gift of singleness at this time in your life...you have the time and the resources...time and resources you could waste on "dating" or use to help others. Do the latter, and one day...when you've learned to use your gift of singleness and are ready to trade it for the gift of marriage, you'll look up from the child you're helping learn to read or the homeless person you're feeding and see the woman of your dreams across the room. Why risk that by letting some women you date dreak your heart a few times...trust me, it isn't worth it!

1. Meet in a public place.
2. Be friendly.
3. Be patient. Don't rush to slay the unbelievers until after you've gotten to know each other.

Why date at all? Dating has no purpose in life. You should worry about making money and staying in shape. And making sure that you can provide things in life for people around you.

Online dating is a good place to meet creepy people and other weirdos...it doesn't matter if it's a "Christian" site or not.
