Is It Humiliating For A 20 Year Old To Sign Up For An Online Dating Site Like Match.com Or Eharmony.com?

I’m so sick of the immature boys in my classes and have just had it with the people in my town. I had to move back home and transfer schools because my old one was too expensive to it’s hard to even go out and meet people with my friends up at school and me at home.
I feel like there has to be a nice, mature, guy out there and I just am tired of waiting. I am really thinking of trying out an online site but I just feel a sense of shame in that for my young age, like people will think something is wrong with me for being on a website instead of out meeting people. What do you think?

no way, if you don’t like the guys around you, then you have the right to find that special someone, go for it, you are young and you have plenty of time, but it would be better if you were spending that time with someone else too.

There are people who have married the people that they have met on those sites. If you feel embarassed, then don’t tell anyone how you met the guy. There are good people and bad people on those sites. Always meet someone in a public place initially. See http://www.webdatingguide.com for a list of good dating sites.

Nah, there’s nothing wrong with it. I personally think that using those sites extends your options.
Just be careful about who you meet, and don’t give away too much personal information.
