i need to call the next scheduled date on my webcalander (yahoo web hosting) and post it on my site.

  This describes adding the calendar to a page.
  I’m not sure, but there may be a setting or switch in there that allows you to call a specific date, or only a date with events, etc.

  You need to incorporate application code into your html to interact with the database. Like ASP or ColdFusion.

  I don’t believe Yahoo has this available. You may want to look into Google Calendar and their APIs to get this done. Of course it helps if your a programmer too.
