Personally i wouldnt bother with online dating, just go out with friends and socialise, it will build your confidence and u will meet women/men whilst out
You could try Craigslist. They offer local classifieds and forums for communities worldwide – a place to find jobs, housing, goods & services, social activities, a girlfriend or boyfriend, information, advice, and just about anything else — largely for free, and in a non-commercial environment.
I put an ad on there, and had all kinds of responses. You do have to be careful though..just like in a bar, there are good folks, not so good folks and everything in between!
