It took me awhile to realize that this was a real ad for a real web site.
Now, my reaction probably “doesn’t count”, because I am nearing 60 years old, and, of course, I think it’s pretty disgusting. I’m fairly sure that most folks my age probably agree…with the possible exception of a few men (the kind of guy who slips off his wedding ring after work on Friday night).
But what do “today’s generation” think of this concept?
Do you approve or not?
Why?
Would you place an ad on that site, or go on a date with someone who has an ad?
Why or why not?
(My son and his 30-something crowd call that site “wh*resRus.com”. They don’t mean it as a compliment. My grandson and his 20-something bunch call it “essteedeez unlimited.com”. Hmmmm.)

Wait… let me write down that address first before I act self righteous.
just kidding.
I agree with your Son and Grandchildren.
It is both sad and disgusting. Sad that this sort of thing comes on TV, with little to no shame. Disgusting because of the morals or lack there of, it represents.
Here’s the even sadder part.
The men, yes 99% who will respond will be guys, who respond are probably pretty desperate or looking for some sort of escapism. A fantasy world that, though they may delude themselves, they know is not real.
Even worse.. the men who want to use these women for a good time and care little about them… are most likely getting used themselves. NOT because the women they meet online are using them sexually, but because chances are.. the women they think they are meeting don’t actually exist.
Unfortunately, my Cousin runs a similar site on the internet. It is a total scam.
Not many women are drawn to these sites so MANY of these “dating” (the term is used very loosely) sites end up creating FAKE female profiles. Because guys aren’t going to pay monthly fees to simply flirt with other men…most want to see lots of women profiles on the site before they sign up with their credit cards.
The company will usually steal pictures of women off the internet and make fake profiles with fake names and email addresses. This makes the site look like it is FILLED with ready and willing women who want to fullfill your every desire.
Unsuspecting men who want a “booty call” will pay money to email and even chat with these women.
In reality, they are probably interacting with either an employee of that company who is pretending to be a women OR possibly a computer program designed flirt and respond to emails.
I have no idea if bootycall.com is legit or not. I will never go to that site nor do I hope to meet a coworker who has…but not many of those sites are legitimate, despite their lack of morals.
Again, my cousin, sadly, runs this very scam on his site. At one point he was making $10,000 a DAY on such a site. I don’t know if he ever had 1 legitimate women on his site.. I think it was all a bunch of guys chasing after fake accounts.
Part of his scam was as soon as you signed up, you’d almost immediately get 3-8 emails in your inbox from women who supposedly noticed you and want to “hook up” or “date” you.
As soon as you tried to email them back,. though.. you’d find out their accounts were expired or disabled, or they never responded to you. After a couple of weeks of this frustration, most men Cancel their membership. BUT, surprise surprise, as soon as they cancel.. VOILA! they get 3-5 more emails from women. Hoping to finally meet some women.. most men will sign up again for 30 more days. — And so on and so on..the computer program toys with you until you get fed up and Cancel your account for good. Meanwhile the website has gotten 2-3 months of membership fees out of you.
I don’t condone this..but my cousin says “hey I’m not forcing them to do anything. A sucker is born every minute, if I didn’t do it, someone else would.. so I might as well make money off the losers.”
Again, I don’t buy into this morality, but there you have it.
It is really disgusting and sad.
Without visiting the site how can anyone have an opinion on it? I have been to it personally and it is no different than any other online dating site. They offer limited free services and aggressively pursue you to sign up for pay for services. The name is simply an advertising technique.
I have written blog.
I wishhh to know did you like that?
or what?
give your ideas.

I,m 61 and I agree with you, I would not want to see someone
that I did not know anything about,,so many thing,s today to
be scared of.
Never seen them. The stuff I watch really doesn’t attract the young and the foolishly reckless
Jeopardy, The Science Channel, News and Sports thats about it.
Anyone visiting such a site would not qualify to be on Vot’s “To Date” list
Some people are screwed up. Nothing you can do about that. It’s all the hormones.
Sex is a need just like food or drink… except online sex is a little akward and abstract.
some people are desperate….
sick
disapprove
no
because it is wrong
I don’t watch TV. It’s the devil’s version of QVC.
Well For one he advocates Violence as he kicks the other across the yard, and The site itself is all about hooking up for casual sex only, what is so silly about it, is the Mock date they showed and upstage E-Harmony . Com Who would be so stupid as to go out on a date with a Girl who’s interested in having a meaningful Conversation ? Didn’t that Guy know that before he agreed to the date ? How stupid is that, The the Founder ? Dr Moses Brown, Doctor ? Not hardly, Too Young to be a Legitimate Doctor, That whole thing is nothing but about Shallow empty meaningless sex
Prostitution is the world’s oldest profession, so I don’t know why your so shocked to see something like that. They used to advertise in the back of cheap newspapers but now I guess they’re on TV. It’s kind of annoying and awkward i guess, but so are commercials for Erectile disfunction pills and Girls Gone Wild tapes.
I actually thought it was a joke the first time I saw it. Took me a while to realize the sad fact that it wasn’t. I do not approve. At all. Sex is indeed a part of life, but it’s not something to degrade on television with a name like “online booty call.” It’s derogatory, for all involved. The commercial itself puts down relationships and marriage in favor of one night stands. And no, I would definitely not place an add on that site. Anyone willing to do so is not anyone I’d want to associate with.
