Not everyone you want to date, will want to date you. People are still allowed to be selective and have criteria. I’m on match.com also and I probably “no thanks” more guys than I actually strike up conversation with. If I read their profile and go through their photos and nothing ‘clicks’ then I see no point in wasting their time or mine. I’m not there to find someone to date just to be dating…I’m there to increase the chances I might meet someone I’ll want to be with long term.
Have patience…there are many thousands of women on that site, and more joining all the time. You’ll eventually cross ‘paths’ with some who will want to get to know you better.
Well the only answer that comes to mind is that they are lonely but scared at the same time. While they do want a relationship. They are also afraid of being hurt again. We all have a safety zone that we all travel in, but to step out of that safety zone is scary and difficult. Instead of worrying so much about going out, try being a friend then slowly work up to that first meeting.
