Some Tips Pleas For Online Dating??

Hi,
i am gonna post a profile to a match maker web site to meet a girl.
i am gonna pay fo this and like to do every thing perfectly.
i need some tips, for example;should i write a serious profile or somehow funny ?
when i send a message to a girl to ask her to read my profile, should i invite her directly in the first message to a coffee or in the first message just say that i am interested, should i write official and serious or friendly or funny ?
as you see i have no idea at all, pleas answer my question as many as you can, and any other tip that you think is important to know or to do,

Serious is probably best – we get to know you through your profile, so if you’re talking **** we probably won’t reply.
Other then that, don’t ask them out in the first message, and don’t limit your search to women in your area. The more you talk to the better you’re going to get at online dating. In the first message be friendly and funny – say something like ‘I saw your profile and I was just amazed at how beautiful, sweet and intelligent you are’
