Online dating is the ‘modern’ way of dating and works for most people.
My advice would be to be open and honest with your profile but make it slightly challenging.

Serious is probably best – we get to know you through your profile, so if you’re talking **** we probably won’t reply.
Other then that, don’t ask them out in the first message, and don’t limit your search to women in your area. The more you talk to the better you’re going to get at online dating.
