I keep seeing ads for online dating sites like match.com and friendfinder.com. Personally i think any an all online dating websites are scams. How can you date a person youve never met face to face? Mabey im wrong- anyone here ever meet someone who met thier significant othr online? I just have a hard time believing iot works. I have a hunch seeking romance online is used by people who can’t meet people in real life…So its for losers…Stick to meeting people in bars.

I was just wondering if any busy professionals have ever met their significant others through online dating sites? In other words, does it work or have women had bad experiences through online dating (such as misrepresentation, men lying about their marital status, just a lot of one time only dates etc.)

Are there any actually FREE online dating sites? Sites where you are not required to have a subscription or membership before you can actually email someone?
It seems most sites require you to get a membership before you can actually send email back and forth.
There has got to be a really FREE site out there.
