I met my partner on-line. I admit, I was completely skeptical going in to the on-line experience. I had one terrible date, one so-so date and then I met my partner and fell head over heels in love. We’re celebrating our one year anniversary this month. So far, so very good. We both had bad experiences before we met but if we hadn’t persevered…..
I’d say it’s up to you to refine your search, switch to e-harmony or find another method of meeting singles. There’s good and bad in everything…. Just be patient and truthful.

I’m so sick of the immature boys in my classes and have just had it with the people in my town. I had to move back home and transfer schools because my old one was too expensive to it’s hard to even go out and meet people with my friends up at school and me at home.
I feel like there has to be a nice, mature, guy out there and I just am tired of waiting. I am really thinking of trying out an online site but I just feel a sense of shame in that for my young age, like people will think something is wrong with me for being on a website instead of out meeting people. Ok basically I’ve known this guy for a while now, his mother went to school with my father. But I’ve always spoken to his brother rather than him (even though I did like him more) until just recently when I contacted him online and we’ve started talking. There are a few things I want to know actually. Number one, how long should I wait before I ask to meet him again in person (and it has to be really planned because he lives four hours away and I don’t have a car). I heard that people that go on Online Dating websites such as Match.com or Yahoo Personals are liars. I had a former classmate of mine who is a liar and she goes on both Yahoo Personals and Match.com. She has a boyfriend now but I don’t know why she still goes on those sites still. Usually people who go on that site and found a mate already have delete their profile. And she should have delete her profile if she has a boyfriend now but she still goes on those sites. She told me before that she met her boyfriend at a party of her friends… Is that really true that people who are in a relationship right now are going to end up just because of those sites which are fraud. I hope so for her who is a big fat liar. I hope that she gets busted one of these days.
