Online Dating Term “d&d Free”?

When people say on online dating “please be d&d free” (drug and disease), are they talking about all drugs, including natural drugs like weed and shrooms that do not directly contribute to the spread of STDs and HIV, or harder drugs that involve needles and thus increase a person’s chance of getting a disease? Does it differ from person to person?
