I want to know that online dating sites such as e-harmoney, Yahoo Personals, and Match.com are a buch of rip off. I used to go on Match.com and they rip me off by charging me a lot when I stop subcribing and they charged me a lot of money. I hate that. So I stop using Match.com and also Yahoo Personals and just stick with MySpace.com and Friendster.com which I liked better. So do you think that those sites are a buch of rip off. And plus, I don’t think that meeting people from any of those websites are no good. What do you think?

I am a 29 yo female, and so many guys who I’m not attracted to are contacting me. A lot of guys over 40, who are divorced with kids are contacting me even though my profile specifies that i do not want that?
Am I that ugly that no guys I like or am attracted to contact me or wink at me? Also, I am not going to make the first move by contacting the guy first

Online dating service eHarmony has agreed to create a new website for gays and lesbians as part of a settlement with a gay man in New Jersey, the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General said on Wednesday.
The settlement was the result of a discrimination complaint filed by Eric McKinley against eHarmony in 2005, which will be dismissed under the settlement agreement.
eHarmony was founded in 2000 by evangelical Christian Dr. Neil Clark Warren and had ties with the influential religious conservative group Focus on the Family.
Now, I checked and there are dozens of gay online dating sites. So why is it so important for eHarmony to have one? It’s a private service that receives no money from the government.
What’s next?
Should proctologists (doctors who treat people’s rectoms) be forced to do brain surgery?
Should liquor stores be forced to sell diapers and nipples?
Should steak houses be forced to sell sushi?
What are your thoughts?

I’m a male college studen, and I have been considering online dating recently. There seems to be nobody in my area who meets my moral standards or shares my interests. Maybe it’s because I’m too serious (both about life in general and about relationships in particular), but there seems to be nobody who is morally or personally compatible with me. Therefore, I think I will try out online dating. I read about OKCupid and eHarmony, which are both free matchmaking sites. Are either of these a good idea for someone who is an intellectual, Christian, extremely conservative, looking for long-term relationships EXCLUSIVELY, and not flirty or looking for someone flirty? Also, it probably doesn’t matter…but I’m 19. Even so, like I said, I’m having problems. It’s not that I’m unattractive (TONS of girls think I’m “cute” or “adorable”), I’m not out of shape (I get plenty of activity), and I am not some freak (I have plenty of friends). That said, please give me some advice!
