Who Has Had Success With A Professional Matchmaker?

I was wondering if anyone, particularly in Canada has had success with a professional match maker or match making service NOT online dating.
I have read that some of them to deliever what they offer and just ends up being a money pit. If anyone knows of a good reputable one that does NOT require a minimum income that would be great to know.

Please write about how romance is much easier and faster to find with the help of a professional matchmaker over venturing out on the traditional dating path most singles take.
