I’m a lady that meets guys every so often but they all seem to be either gay or weird. I’m not sure why these are the type of guys that I meet but maybe because I only meet guys online. Any advice or stories that u would like to share with me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much! ok, so I’m 19 and I find myself having a really difficult time meeting other gay guys. I’m not really into the gay scene nor do I “act gay” or give off much of a gay presence. I can’t seem to pick up on who is gay or not (no gaydar here). How do I go about minding other gay guys like me and how do I go about approaching them? I don’t want to go up and hit on a straight guy or anything like that. And at my school we don’t really have a great good organizations, only the ones that want to get laid go there. I tried the online thing, but haven’t had much luck nor really want to start a relationship through the internet. I think that’s it. Please help. I’m asking because a buddy of mine signed up for a free dating site and he had a few dates with different girls, and every single time he had a funny story the next day about the girl either weighing 40 pounds more than in the picture she put up, or she was 10 years older than the pic or had an old boyfriend she was crying over when they went to dinner. Stuff like that. Is that how it is when you do online dating? All funky? After hearing his stories, I don’t think I’d ever want to try it. I’m 35 and I’ve always thought that meeting people online was kinda weird but it seems pretty normal now. I’m single with no kids and I’d like to meet new people for friends and maybe more.
