I’m not out yet, and the only way I know how to meet guys is through gay dating/hookup sites. I’ve talked to some guys who seem to have shown genuine interest at first (online)… but it seems like I always end up getting ignored or being forgotten in the end. All this letdown and I’m beginning to despair of ever finding a guy who’s into more than one night stands and shows a real interest in me… not even as a potential boyfriend but just as a person. I guess I’d just like to know if anyone else has had the same sort of experience and also if anyone might be able to suggest other (better) ways to meet guys that’d be practical for someone in my situation. She lives out of my state, but only a half hour drive away. The strange things is that she says she is 34 lives with her parents does drive, but has no access to a car. I guess I would have to come to her parents house and pick her up and go out somewhere if I decide to meet her. When I have met potential dates before it has always been in public places, where we both brought our own transportation. Jut looking for suggested free-sites for chat or singles dating in my area…Or good and bad experiences on such sites…Not having much luck, it seems yet…Thru Yahoo personals…But of course, I believe that when I find that special someone…It will just Happen,regardless of how I meet them… I have been talking to a guy online. We seem to get along great. I think I might really like him which surpises me… We have traded many pictures and we plan to meet on Saturday. I have been safe about this. Told my sister that i would be going give her his name and number, and I told him I did this. I think that we could really hit it off… I am nervous and excited… |
