I generally wait 3 or 4 days, if I see they have been active online and after a few days I don’t get a response I delete them and continue looking. Just my general approach. Good luck.

Specifically how much and on what schedule? I’m not talking about the off the shelf online dating services but the professional match makers. Is it one set price? Is it monthly? After a match? Before a match? I have been doing the online thing for 5 months, have met a few people, but think I can do better. How many flakes have you met, BTW? And what has been your ratio of messages sent to responses? Did better pix help? Did you keep up with updating your profile? Any advice from successful online daters would be appreciated! Most online dating sites like match.com say they are free but I know they must charge a fee. I just want to know how much? I’m a straight girl and I don’t get it still (it’s probably the 4th I’m asking this…) … why don’t they like other gay guys? Sure gays tend to be a minority but aren’t there gay meccas like SF to go to? Or dating online? Especially online? Do some gay guys REALLLY think that every guy there (or most of them) is a repressed homosexual or something??? recently i found out about an online support group for lesbians and bis in my country.. it’s an official group.. i’m interested in joining them… they have a house of their own where they hold the meetings that’s open for the members all week.. they have interesting activities and most importantly they provide support! that’s what i feel like i need now, cuz i’m too lost !!! to keep it short, i messaged them and asked if i could join.. they were very friendly in their response, and asked for my phone number so they could give me a call and the organizer can meet with me to make sure what my intentions are (cuz it’s not a dating site!) this is where i’m finding a little problem.. how can i trust someone i don’t know? how can i agree to meet up with her somewhere and i have no idea who she is? i don’t know! i have a trust issue.. i can’t give more info about them cuz they’re details are strictly private.. to avoid harrassment.. it all sounds good, they have rules.. what do you think? |
