What Do You Think About Match.com And Other Online Dating Services?

Ordinarily I despise/fear online matchmaking but 2 of my close friends have met really great people from it. One of them is actually getting married after dating the guy for 4 years. My friends told me to try, but I still have my doubts. I think I might be better off just meeting people in person. What do you all think?

How Do I Get A Tgv Ticket With Youth Discount (or Any Other Discount) Online?

it’s 3 weeks from our travel date from avignon to paris. i’ve been trying to figure out how to purchase tickets online with the youth discount but cant quite figure it out with french websites…
it seems like on the raileurope site it doesnt make a difference whether you are under 25 or not at $149 a ticket.
is this normal for this time of the year?
any tips for how to save some money?

If You Are In Your 30s And Don’t Want To ‘online Date’, What Are Some Other Options?

I’m almost 30 and don’t want to date people at work.
I’m at a loss as to how/where to meet good single men and re-enter the dating world.
Any advice?
I’m a non drinker,non smoker, not into the bar or club scene.
I’ve tried the gym, yoga, and cooking classes.
Will men approach me or do I have to approach them?
Are men afraid to approach women today?
Would a man think I’m crazy if I started talking to him & asked him for a coffee/tea?
I wish men were more comfortable striking up a conversation and asking women out if they saw her at a grocery store, bookstore, coffee shop, etc.
How do people date today? I’ve tried online and it’s not for me. I’ve tried meeting through friends but they’re all married with kids (30s-40s).

Should Online Dating Site Prevent Users To View Other Users Photos Until Interact With That User For A Week?

most people just look at the picture and went “no thanks, next” when that person is probably the one matches everything they are looking for..
I don’t believe people on dating site should see the pictures of the other until maybe after they have talked and know each other for about a week (based on message counts) then the site unlocks the feature to let them see each other’s picture
would an online dating site as such be successful in your opinion?

After countless days of trying to meet people in the real world, I have decided to consider online dating. I am not sure what to expect at all.
