Just tell me what I might be doing wrong, When I message the ladies that I feel I want to contact, they never respond to me back, these ladies are not models or anything, just plain normal looking ladies. I must say that my picture could be better. I belive that its b/c they are not a paying member, so they cant contact me back, Maybe?? What are some Tips you could give me. What is the best Dating site for ladies who dont want to joke around. Im 24/m from Miami. (im in the UK)Thanks (BTW, Im NOT into Pubs or Clubs)

I want to know that online dating sites such as e-harmoney, Yahoo Personals, and Match.com are a buch of rip off. I used to go on Match.com and they rip me off by charging me a lot when I stop subcribing and they charged me a lot of money. I hate that. So I stop using Match.com and also Yahoo Personals and just stick with MySpace.com and Friendster.com which I liked better. So do you think that those sites are a buch of rip off. And plus, I don’t think that meeting people from any of those websites are no good. What do you think?

Has anyone here had experience with Match.com? Or any other dating site that gives you the option of looking for same-sex dates?
I’m a pretty old-fashioned girl who is just about petrified of the online-dating scene. I’m starting to sloowwwly look into it as an option for down the road. I’d like some feedback from people who have actually used such sites.
What site did you use? What did you like about it? What didn’t you like? Did you meet some nice people? Would you recommend that site to someone else?
I’m looking for sites that aren’t highly sexualized… you know, the ones where everyone’s profile is focused on sex, and the pics are of people barely dressed? Yeah I don’t want those types of sites. Like I said, I’m old-fashioned. Sex is good. Sex is great. Sex is just not my thing on the first date.

I am a 33 year old guy. About a month ago I registered at Plenty of Fish. I made a nice profile and put up a nice pic. I am not a picky guy at all. I don’t even really care about looks. I just want to find a nice woman. I am not a bad looking guy and I am a nice guy. But my success rate is 0%! It is sad. Only a couple women have messaged me. I almost always have to message women first because I hear women usually don’t make the first contact. So I do message a lot of women. But after 1 or 2 messages, I never hear from them again. I think some women are super super picky. And some of these women aren’t even great looking. They are very heavy and their profiles are kind of mean spirited. Bah… I am getting discouraged. Really really discouraged. No dates yet. Any tips?

I keep seeing ads for online dating sites like match.com and friendfinder.com. Personally i think any an all online dating websites are scams. How can you date a person youve never met face to face? Mabey im wrong- anyone here ever meet someone who met thier significant othr online? I just have a hard time believing iot works. I have a hunch seeking romance online is used by people who can’t meet people in real life…So its for losers…Stick to meeting people in bars.

I know there are 13 and 14 year old girls trying to find dates online,but most of the sites are for 18 and up.And I was like,”What the heck are they doing?Are they trying to get in trouble with the police and trying to get rapped by some dudes they met online?” I’m worried about those girls,but isn’t there like a site for those girls to find the perfect match other then Eharmony and match and stuff.Shouldn’t they be using those instead,if there are any?

I have tried online dating in the past and I would like to give it another go, but I don’t know which ones to join as there are so many out there who’s just trying to lure you in for money and doesn’t really care if you find somebody or not. I have this notion that the free sites are full of scammers and players so I don’t want to join those. I am an honest,good looking professional woman, and I don’t meet a lot of potential partners where I live plus the fact that my work hours are really irregular. I guess online dating is really ideal. Also I would like to meet somebody from the US (long story…lol), is there a site where people are open to meeting/interacting with people not within their 100miles radius? Any suggestions? When I try to google online dating services reviews, most of the sites that shows are those sponsored by the services themselves so they are biased plus some blogs which are way way back from 2007! I want to read more recent reviews + comments on these sites. People with a personal experience on this are welcome to comment. At the moment, I am looking at datingdirect website, but I read some rather not so nice reviews about them, so I’m a little sceptical. Thanks so much people.
