I would like to know who has had success with meeting someone from a different country. I have recently started chatting to a guy, who I think is so wonderful, in the UK. I live in Australia. We have been talking online for around a month. We talk everyday, on webcam or on the phone. We text each other everyday aswell. He said he is coming over in the next few months. Anyone care to share there stories? Tips on how to handle long distance love

I met my husband on a singles chat line. We dated for a year and a half and we have been married for 4 years now. Use all the precautions you would normally use when getting to know someone (meet in a public place the first few times you see each other, etc.). It also doesn’t hurt to conduct a criminal background search on someone that you are thinking about dating seriously, and they are relatively inexpensive. I am 52 and my husband is 49. Ok, heres the deal. For example, if I wanted to find out what happened on this exact date a year ago, where would I go? Or if I wanted to know about the major news stories on the day that I was born? There’s got to be a free user-friendly site, but I don’t know of one. |
