He confessed his love to me profusely, but since we live far from each other (adjacent countries) he said he can’t handle the distance and he won’t be with another man so he wants us to be “special friends” (he defines that as doing everything lovers do but without calling it love) and he will look for a woman. I see him online in a gay dating site everyday, where is he gonna get a woman there?

I’m a straight girl and I don’t get it still (it’s probably the 4th I’m asking this…) … why don’t they like other gay guys? Sure gays tend to be a minority but aren’t there gay meccas like SF to go to? Or dating online? Especially online? Do some gay guys REALLLY think that every guy there (or most of them) is a repressed homosexual or something??? When posting on Craigslist or on-line dating sites lesbians constantly have to point out that they are not interested in meeting a man or “hetero” couple- even when they are clearly in a woman-for-woman webspace. I know there are lesbians who are interested in all kinds of scenarios, but I am talking about those who clearly state that they are not. I know lesbians who use all kinds of questioning tactics to make sure the person they met online is actually another lesbian. I have friends who have shown up for dates with a woman – only to have a straight guy show up instead. Well i just came out in may a week before my 25th b-day I went on one date with this girl after i came out it was a nice date or maybe i was just in pilot mode but i blabbered on and on i was just not feeling it, that was my first date and i met her on this online dating. Im still on few online dating but there is one girl and she is straight, i think i viewed her profile first because i was looking around and then I noticed her profile was looking for a man but it was constant photo tag so i asked one of my good friend who is a lesbian do some girls on these online dating t pretend too be looking for a guy but there really into girls or bi-curious or bi she said yes but they only do that so that guys don’t message them pretending them to be girl so she said go and message her and see what she writes, we messaged back and forth 3x’s and that was it i tried again sending her another message and i got nothing but every time she logs on she views my profile and its constant photo tag is she teasing me or is she just being curious, but im like so attracted too her and i don’t know what too do. I know I sound like im too desperate i just want too know help me! I’ve taken a lot of crap on this subject before but it’s just too annoying. Feel free to add more if you want. |
