If yes- which one- any tips?? I would like to know who has had success with meeting someone from a different country. I have recently started chatting to a guy, who I think is so wonderful, in the UK. I live in Australia. We have been talking online for around a month. We talk everyday, on webcam or on the phone. We text each other everyday aswell. He said he is coming over in the next few months. Anyone care to share there stories? Use all the precautions you would normally use when getting to know someone (meet in a public place the first few times you see each other, etc.). It also doesn’t hurt to conduct a criminal background search on someone that you are thinking about dating seriously, and they are relatively inexpensive. I am 52 and my husband is 49. I was wondering if anyone, particularly in Canada has had success with a professional match maker or match making service NOT online dating. After taking a 9 month hiatus, I am considering get “back out there.” However, I am in my late twenties and it’s definitely harder to meet people than it was in college! I am done dating people at work (which is how I met my two long term boyfriends) and, due to time constrictions, I think online dating may be the best route. I have been doing the online thing for 5 months, have met a few people, but think I can do better. How many flakes have you met, BTW? And what has been your ratio of messages sent to responses?
