I want to know that online dating sites such as e-harmoney, Yahoo Personals, and Match.com are a buch of rip off. I used to go on Match.com and they rip me off by charging me a lot when I stop subcribing and they charged me a lot of money. I hate that. So I stop using Match.com and also Yahoo Personals and just stick with MySpace.com and Friendster.com which I liked better. So do you think that those sites are a buch of rip off. And plus, I don’t think that meeting people from any of those websites are no good. What do you think?

It costs money to maintain these databases. Being a Christian, I know that God will introduce me to the right person at the right time, but that could be 10, 20, 30 years from now. How can a person go that long single with no dating? It’s starting to weigh on me. I haven’t had a date in probably over five years now. On the one hand, I’m glad that I haven’t been out one time with all these people just to have them not talk to me afterwards. I would just like some female friends and that would work. I am not neccessarily wanting to get involved, just have at least a girl or two around (not in that way people). I’ve tried dating sites and those are sorely disappointing. I seriously do not get any responses on those things and yes, I try to connect with people. I have met a couple people online and they end up being twice my age, four kids, three divorces and just plain basket cases. Now I am open minded and I did hang out with them for a little bit, but I was looking for more along the lines of my interests and age. I don’t think it really matters what site you use, but what kind of people you meet on it. If you find someone who is honest and really looking for a relationship it will be much more successful. But of course there’s always the issue of not knowing who’s on the other side of the computer, and if they’re telling you the truth or feeding you lies. So again, what it comes down to is who you are talking to. I’m a girl…looking for a girl. I haven’t dated one yet but over the past few months i’ve stopped denying things and really let go of worrying about being with one…and i know it’s what i want. So…instead of going to online dating websites or gay bars (because sometimes those women aren’t all gay that go), is there anything like a social mingler for lesbians? |
