I’m Going To Be Meeting My Online Love For The First Time?

I’ve been dating a girl online for some time and we decided to meet in real life. I’m nervous and so is she but what’s some tips? for example I want to have a gift for her but what can I do to just make everything seem less awkward since theirs really no avoiding it. I want to have a nice greeting but not to cheesy and not to boring, I would really like for girls or someone who’s done this before to answer :) If it helps we been dating for 2 months and consider each other in love.

Shipping Fedex Through Kinkos – Delivery Time And Tracking?

I ordered something on eBay and it was shipped yesterday (3-31) via FedEx Kinkos. Online the tracking says “Mar 31, 2008 4:08 AM Package data transmitted to FedEx.” It is being shipped from a city 4 hours away and the Delivery Date is today (April 1). I called FedEx this morning and the customer service agent told me pretty much what the web site said. From experience, will I get it today or was there a mistake?

1st Date In A Long Time Help! Tips?

Might sound dumb, but met this guy online and we’re going to the movies and possibly dinner tomorrow night after i work. Now, I’ve ONLY been with my ex, and we dated almost 5 years, and its been a little over 7 months since he left, so i am i guess kinda new at dating i guess so kind of unsure on what to do i guess. And I know its kind of scary since i met this guy online, but i met my ex online and i talked to 2 other guys before this new one, one turned out to be a jerk and the other just didn’t click but i never met them in person. I have this guys myspace and facebook and friends and family have checked on him, lol. Ive been talking to him for at least 2 weeks now and we have almost everything in common, so we pretty much clicked right away. But again, ive only been with one guy and for almost 5 years so any tips on 1st dates hehe? I am a shy person, tho online i talk but i know ill prolly be quiet at 1st with him, like i was when i 1st met my ex. So yeah, gimme tips i guess hehe, even if my question may sound kinda dumb lol.

Meeting Someone I Met Online For The First Time? Tips Anyone?

I’m meeting someone I met online for the first time next weekend. He lives in MS and I live in LA. He is traveling almost 3 hours to see me. I had planned for us to go to dinner at one of my favorite restaurants and then maybe see a movie on Friday night. My date, when recently discussing our plans, suggested some other things we could do on Saturday night and if he can get out of a commitment that he has on Sunday, then things we could do then too. Does he think he’s staying with me for the whole entire weekend? I have not offered him to stay at my house, and I certainly would not feel comfortable having someone I just met staying there anyways. I just don’t know how to approach this. He’s a nice enough guy, and although we have not been talking too long, we’ve really hit it off and have been talking on the phone every night since. We’re both still in college, so him staying in a hotel when he came down here could would be financially hard on him. I guess I just need to know how y’all would go about discussing this topic? I don’t mind him coming for the entire weekend but I don’t think he should stay with me.

What Web Site Can I Go To And Purchase Concert Tickets And Book A Hotel At One Time.?

How Much Time Should You Allot To Hear Back From A Potential Match On A Online Dating Site?

I generally wait 3 or 4 days, if I see they have been active online and after a few days I don’t get a response I delete them and continue looking. Just my general approach. Good luck.

Meeting An Online Date For The First Time; Any Tips?

I am meeting a girl I have met online, for the first time in real life next week. We have talked on the phone a few times, but mainly chatted on MSN.
I am usually quite a shy person when meeting girls, but I can usually do OK when the pressure is on (I once went on a blind date and coped reasonably well).
We are meeting in London which is halfway between where we both live and as a result, we have booked a hotel which means we will probably be sharing a bed (though I do have a backup plan, just in case) – is that a bit too much, too soon?
But what I’d like is; has anybody been in a similar situation and does anybody have any tips on us meeting for the first time?
