ive been dating this guy for almost 7 months now. we live in two separate towns and barely get to see each other.and were not old enough to drive yet.we talk alot online and on the phone.any tips…
Its a semi blind date, we know what each other looks like, we have spoken on the phone, spent hours chatting online, have loads n loads n common, but we’re going on our 1st date 2morro, any tips?
My ex-husband left me a little over three years ago now. After that happened, it took me a good two years before I got my life back in order.
Now I feel great, and look back on my darker days as something in my past, something that I learned a lot of positive lessons from, but would never want to re-live. I have absolutely no contact with my ex or his family and we did not have any kids together, either, thank goodness. I was with him ex-husband a total of 5 years (age 20-25) and now I am 28 and feel totally out of the dating loop.
I’m going to post a personal ad online, but it is very easy to hide behind a computer screen. It’s the actual going on a date thing that has me very nervous. I am confident in the person that I have become, but I tend to be very shy in social settings, preferring to be a part of the actively involved audience, rather than take center stage. Any tips?
I went on a date with a guy that I’ve been talking to for maybe a few days before Christmas. The date went real well, we talked better than I thought since I’m normally real shy and quiet at first but I felt like I could act myself around him since we have a lot in common, but we saw a movie and after we didn’t talk much but we where both tired. I did make some mistakes like mentioning my ex since he had a necklace that my ex gave me from a festival, I didn’t want to say anything but I guess I made a face towards it and he asked what was wrong, I told him but changed the subject. I think the big one was when he got me home. He was taking his seat belt off and at the time I didn’t think he would want to walk me to the door, I just hugged him and said something like ‘we should hang out again’.
Was that really bad?
Since then he has been acting kind of off when I talk to him online, but just a few hours ago we talked real well again. I did ask him that I wanted to either hang out at my place or his place or just go out; he liked the idea but didn’t want to make plans yet because of his work. I live with my dad and it’s a somewhat small apartment, and he lives alone which I’m iffy with since we only had one date so far. We clicked better than I thought we would, but I have only been with one guy in the 23 years I’ve been alive and we dated almost 5 years, so this whole thing is still new to me so I am unsure what to do next to show him that I want to date him, but not act desperate.
So please help!
Me and my hubby have been married for 4 years. His job is doing great and our situation Is very stable now. So we decided to start a family. Ok, I have tried to figure out my fertile dates. I have used a few ovulation calculators online. They dont seem to work..LOL Also, they are confusing. Anyhow, I have heard that some sexual positions are better than others…etc. Any tips would be great!
Well… Where do I start?..
When I was 13 I was in a summer camp and on a dance party I met a girl and we really liked each other and stuff, but since we were both sort of shy we didn’t get a chance to even kiss so yeah.
Later, when I was about 14 I really liked a girl from school, she was about half a year younger than me, which I always thought was perfect… Anyway I always was chatting and flirting with her online, and always trying to find her at school and stuff, and even once went bowling with her and her friends. She didn’t really say ANYTHING that would be on a subject “i like you” to me, and didn’t really seem to have any feelings towards me, which I thought was ok really, because she was shy and not very open-minded and stuff. Well long story short, I was trying to get her to like me for about a year. I also tried to get attention of two other girls at that time, which also failed.
The interesting I might add that I noticed is that I drink alcohol and they never did, it just so happens that girls of my taste don’t drink or smoke and always have good grades. Weird. I also started smoking over a year ago. From the incident with the girl from my school and on, I never even looked at girls, because I thought I would fail and it’s always been just a waste of time.
What I’d like to see here are some tips on dating and stuff, because most of my friends already had girlfriends and even sex, so I think it’s time for me to do so too. Not like I’m rushing or anything, but still. I should also add that I never came up to girls just for sex, or for sex at all, I always liked romance far more. I just wish to finally have a girlfriend, you know?
PS – one more thing, if a girls likes me and I see that, it’s like 95% chance that I won’t find her attractive, just like when I like some girl
Sorry for my english, I’m russian just so you know
Might sound dumb, but met this guy online and we’re going to the movies and possibly dinner tomorrow night after i work. Now, I’ve ONLY been with my ex, and we dated almost 5 years, and its been a little over 7 months since he left, so i am i guess kinda new at dating i guess so kind of unsure on what to do i guess. And I know its kind of scary since i met this guy online, but i met my ex online and i talked to 2 other guys before this new one, one turned out to be a jerk and the other just didn’t click but i never met them in person. I have this guys myspace and facebook and friends and family have checked on him, lol. Ive been talking to him for at least 2 weeks now and we have almost everything in common, so we pretty much clicked right away. But again, ive only been with one guy and for almost 5 years so any tips on 1st dates hehe? I am a shy person, tho online i talk but i know ill prolly be quiet at 1st with him, like i was when i 1st met my ex. So yeah, gimme tips i guess hehe, even if my question may sound kinda dumb lol.
