Are They Swingers Or Is This Typical Of Bisexuals?

I have always been attracted to both men and women and consider myself to be bisexual even though I haven’t had a same sex relationship yet. At this point in my life I feel like it is the right time for me to have one so I found a group of bi girls online and went out with them the other night. I was really surprised to find out that all of them were either married or currently in a relationship with a man but they were also looking to find a girlfriend. I always thought that being bisexual meant you had either a boyfriend OR a girlfriend- not both simultaneously. Is this typical in the bi community? I believe in monogamy and would not be comfortable dating someone who was already in a relationship. Maybe should I try dating a lesbian? I guess my thought was that it would be better to date another bi girl who would understand my attraction to both men and women.

If You Met A Butch Lesbian, Or An Ftm, What Typical Masculine Qualities Would You Expect Them To Have?

The reason I ask this, is because I went on this “date” with this girl. I drove about an hour north to go meet her. We had been talking online and things seemed to be going well. But when I met her, she seemed stand offish, and at the end of the night, there was this awkwardness about kissing her. I told her that I’m not really an aggressor type and that I don’t generally make a first move unless I know it’s ok. She said it was, so I kissed her.
But then she hasn’t spoken with me again. So I’m confused. She seemed to like me, and encouraged me to kiss her. But now? Nothing.
Do girls really expect us all to act like Shane off the L Word or something? And be all cocky and act like a player? Is this what girls really expect butches/FTM’s to be like? Because sorry, but if that’s the case, I’ll be highly disappointing. I abhor Shane’s character.
