do they exist? like for eastern europeans or hispanic? Online dating services like Yahoo personals and eHarmony charge you a fee for using the service they provide, however, you can sign up and search and create profiles for free. When you want to hook up with a profile, you then have to pay to become a member. Is this not unlike being a pimp? A pimp provides the prostitute, you can look for free, but you have to pay to make contact. If the government allows paid online dating, then why not allow prostitution? Remember, the reason most people are looking to date is so that they can have sex. Even if you just want companionship with no sex, you still have to pay. Why the double standard? If you’re going to allow online dating, then prostitution should be allowed. Your thoughts/answers please? There are so many and the none of the free-ones are working for me. Thanks so much. I have a difficult situation – I had a very bad breakup almost a year ago with a guy I went to university with. He abused me emotionally, and once psychially. I haven’t had any dates since him, and I withdrew from school because of the stress he was causing me. I am very bored because I don’t know anyone in the neighbourhood who’s my own age, and my friends are too busy. The only option for socializing is the Internet, but I don’t want to go to a site where my ex won’t be. I know he’s on PlentyOfFish.com, and I thought the site was kind of lame and immature. I want a site where I can meet people my own age and possibly get dates, but I don’t want a site where people rate pictures of each other or a site that’s only focused on sex. I tried Lavalife, and hated it. Can anyone recommend a free dating or social networking site with people 18 – 25 in Canada, college/university students and with intelligent message boards and a large porportion of males? Please help!! Recently one of my friends told me that some one online has posted my pictures to a gay dating site. I’ve contacted the site moderators four times to get my pictures removed from the site, sending them my own pictures of me holding a piece of paper with what they wanted on it to prove that it was me and the person on the dating site is using my identity. They have not responded back and the profile is still on the website. How can I get this removed from their site since aparantly they do not care about protecting the identity and reputation of victems of situations such as this? Arguing….things have gotten physical with her. She began with the hitting and sometimes self inflicted blows to the head (into wall e.c.t.). It started by me trying to prevent her from hurting herself, then led to me having to defend myself. (She threw things, knives, cut her self). I’m a member of OKCupid which is a free online dating site which works via matching personalities through the amount of questions you answer. I’ve met numerous people via this site and have had a year long relationship with one of them. |
