I am a 34-year-old professional male who works long hours. Online dating is a waste of time, so aside from singles events which appear to be mostly lame, what are the best ways to meet women. I was thinking I would approach women anywhere–street, store, etc.–strike up a conversation and then ask if she would like to meet for coffee sometime. I am not creepy. In fact, I have been told I am very good looking. I just do not have a large social network.

actually get a response? Guys? On most of the online date sites – women in their 30′s and 40′s seem to always say they want to meet a guy their age or younger than them. Most guys want a woman younger than them. The math does not work. What ever happened to women going out with older guys (2-10 years older)??? I ask because all women on the web sites attracted to me are older than me and I have no interest in them! I am going on a date (coffee) this week with a woman i met online dating.
