Is Online Dating Really Worth It? And Does It Work?

I know Yahoo has an online dating thing, but I don’t know it just seems like…awkward I guess?
I know that there have been people out there who have actually found their husband/wife with online dating, but that’s like what, one in a thousand?
I guess overall what I am saying is, would it really be worth it to try to make an online dating profile and actually try? I sound kind of emo there “Why try” right? But Honestly, I just feel like it would maybe make me seem desperate or something..I mean I am just about at the “desperate line” but I don’t know maybe I am just talking nonsense..any tips?

I know a lot of middle aged people do it..do younger people in my age range do it too? If so…has anyone young ever had a good experience with it? BTW I mean things like match.com and e harmony…not online dating as in having a bf that only exists online.

I am going to have my photo taken soon and need some advice. The photos will me used on for my web site, online dating sites and I will send them to a few family members. Normally I go to the jcpenny photo studio because its not that expensive. there is a professional studio in my area that charges a few hundred dollars. would it be worth it to go the professional studio ? what are the benefits of going to that studio ? would i look that much better in the professional photo than the jcpenny one ?

Is Online Dating Worth It For A 20-something Female Tired Of The Club Scene & What Are The Best Sites For That

I got out of a serious relationship a few months ago. I was madly in love & it ended suddenly and without warning as he was cheating. I’m coping and getting over it, but I had grown accustomed to having someone to come home to, snuggle with, & share stuff with. I miss it. I’m clearly not ready for anything serious right now but do like dating & getting that male attention. But at the same time, the situation with my ex has me kind of discouraged and put off by men as I thought I was going to marry this man and he turned out to be an a**hole. I’m considering checking out some online dating sites to help me get back in the game. But part of me thinks that’s just pathetic and for desperate people. Not to be conceited but I would consider myself a fairly attractive person inside and out (22, intelligent, 5’5″, 125lbs) & could go to the club & get some numbers but tired of that scene. Is online dating worth it or is it just desperate old guys looking to get lucky & what are good free sites?

Is He Worth Keeping? How Can I Get Past This????

I have been with my finance for 7 years. We met in high school. I was a deep Christian when we met so he lied and said he was too. Through the years I found this to be not true but I love him so I looked past it. 4 years into the relationship I was a virgin. I recently found out he cheated on me 2 years in. Thats not it. I was pregnant and lost our child (one we thought we would never have) All during my pregnany he was meeting girls online and going on dates with them with his best friend. . I was so upset we broke up I told him I would pray about it. He cried for so long and wasn’t eating. . We went to see a pastor and he said God delivered him, and now know how powerful and mericful He is. We got back together after seeing he has really changed, now hes a Christian always calls me wanting to read the Bible, he goes to church faithfully, cut off ties with his friends and stopped smoking. Should I trust him? I feel God has changed our life for the best. Now I love God more
