I’m not getting as many matches as I would like, and I think a creative title would draw more people to my profile… What kind of tips would you have for me given these circumstances. You think I should give up? here’s my story …I’m a 23 yo girl , i met a guy online 6 months ago ( not in a dating site web ), he’s not into msn so he log on just 2 or 3 times during 3 months but we emailed each other till i got his skype pseudo name ,after 5 months of talking ( about everything and nothing ! ) , he told me that he has a disability , he’s blind ! before i liked him but now i really can’t help falling in love with him , he is smart , very smart , so educated and open minded now we talk every night, he how was the day , what i did and what he did at work and many other subjects except heart stuff , once he asked me if i’m in love with someone , i answered : NAHHHH , and i asked him if he got a GF he said No too …i don’t know what he thinks of me , i wanna know but i can’t ask him , he is very shy and i don’t want to freak him out or disturb him , we are getting so close but he had never told me something about his feeling , about girls or about his private things …put yourself in my place and please tell me what to do ? What is the best way to meet new guy friends for possible longtime relationship? Friends tell me I would have no problems due to my personality,appearance,etc.I have been a widow for 2 years and am independent. I don’t trust online dating sites. I met a guy on a well-known paid up dating site. He seems respectable, professional, in his early 40s. He seemed honest and nice and kind, we met up several times during the day for walks, lunch etc. Then, after 4 or 5 dates we shared a nice kiss. 2 weeks later, I suggested I go to his neck of the woods and we have dinner – etc. So, we end up at his – it’s all lovely and we get quite intimate (sorry – gross, I know). THEN, the next day I email him to say thanks for the dinner and he replies, signs his name and then has some completely different name in brackets after that. Turns out this is his ‘real’ name. Should he not have told me this before we ended up at his place? It’s not as though it was a one night stand! I’m a bit freaked out, truthfully, am I over reacting? How come he has to see me naked before I get to hear his real name? For men in the UK, what have your experiences been like with online dating? How long did it take you (if successful) to meet someone? What tips have you got? |
