It depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re straight and want a long-term relationship, eHarmony is pretty good. (one caveat: if you’re a short male, or a tall female, and you would like a partner who is near your height, eHarmony isn’t quite as good because they don’t include height as a consideration in matching. I’m 5’8″ and they have matched me with men 5’5″. By the time I’m wearing shoes, that’s at least a 4″ difference.) From your name, i think you are a female, so you might want to consider metrodate. They have a lot more men than women on that site, so your odds would be good, and they allow you to search for matches as well as to receive matches from their system.
Since metrodate is free so I highly recommend it. Here’s the link.http://bestfreedating.awardspace.com/met…
If these don’t appeal to you, here’s what I’ve noticed about the other two sites I’ve used: Yahoo’s dating service has a lot of people who are interested in relationship and not so many people who are interested in appearance only. Match.com is a huge population, but is not free and by my experience there are more people there to watch out for. I’ve encountered married people just looking for affairs and people with very misleading profiles.
Use caution on any of these sites! Don’t give out personal info too soon, and if you meet someone do it in a public place. I’ve had very good luck meeting people in other places and not online.
