I am looking for an up-to -date syllabus along with links to resources. If none exists then please advise as to how you would teach yourself, in retrospect, how to program stuff for the web. I’d like to be able to create my own site much like ebay and I am also very interested in the Learning management system for e-learning. Check out ellis online mba program. This is the best LMS that I have seen up to date. So far I have the following but I was wondering if there is anything better. Thank you for your time and help.http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/expres…http://www.webmonkey.com/webmonkey/front…
The kind of stuff I would like to recreate comes from: http://ellis.nyit.edu/demo/
The people who designed it are the cardean learning group. I emailed and they did not answer.http://innovation.cardean.com/reports.ht…

There is an incredibly talented UI designer who’s work I have been following for quite some time now.. Check out lukew.com, his name is Luke Wroblewski and is an author of a pretty decent book on web design (I haven’t seen the latest edition so cant speak for it).
In any case, this guy has UI design down to an art-form (well it is :p ) and his website even has a lot of useful power-points and pdfs from seminars he gives. I happen to remember that he also teaches web design at some university; I would dare to bet that you will be able to find his syllabus by poking around on his site or by finding which university he teaches at.
Good luck..
